Ukraine U17 Defeats Slovenia with Strong GD1 Presence

Yesterday, the Ukraine U17 junior national team claimed a brilliant victory over Slovenia. The goals came from Yusypenko and Berezhnyov, who played pivotal roles in the match and brought joy to Ukrainian fans with their performance.

It is especially pleasing to note that a significant part of our national team consists of graduates from Dmytro Hnitko’s GD1 hockey camp. Taking to the ice in the match were Berezhnyov, Yusypenko, Malychyk, Ostapenko (team captain), Hladkykh, and several other players who trained at GD1.

The team’s captain, Yehor Ostapenko, confidently led the squad forward, demonstrating leadership qualities and dedication to the game. The victory over Slovenia was not only an important step in the tournament but also confirmed the high level of preparation of young Ukrainian hockey players.
